How to make
-
Step 1
- First up, add all the gyros ingredients into one bowl and mix together.
- Next, add your free range lamb mince to a bowl, along with 3 tbsps of the gyros seasoning and mix together thoroughly (much easier if you've got gloves so you can use your hands)!
- Mould the mince into kofta shapes, 500g of mince will easily make 6 koftas.
- Add your olive oil to a small bowl along with the final tbsp of gyros seasoning and stir. Brush the oil onto the koftas before cooking on the BBQ (air fryer or grill will work just the same)! Grill for 3-4 minutes on each side.
-
Step 2
- Toast the flatbreads for a minute or so until warm.
- Spread plenty of houmous on the bottom of the flatbread, along with some chunkly, sliced cucumber.
- Slice the koftas lengthways into 4, then lay on top of the houmous.
- Add dollops of tzatziki on top, followed by a scattering of mixed olives
- Serve and enjoy!!
